| DAYS OUT IN SCOTLAND - Summer 2006/2007 30.7.06 - After three weeks of wonderful weather we had a super day out in Aberfoyle - half an hour from Loismhor cattery. These are some of the pictures we took which give an impression of how lucky we are: Above are some of the birds on display at the Woollen Mill -they have as good eye colour as the cats!! In the area to the left you can watch spinning .
Sheepdog trials with---ducks!!!!
8.9.06 - Perth - the top place to stay in Scotland. Industry (Glassblowing) Golf River walks History Cafe Culture Shopping Churches Cathedral Theatre Welcome ! (City Hall)
19.9.06 - Natas' visit. Natas is Mum to Fowler and Odilia, our lilac boy and chocolate girl from the Netherlands. She came for a few days to Scotland and we had great weather and were able to visit some of the places you will see on this page.
24.9.06 Oban - Chilling out in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland only 3 hours from Glasgow. Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary
3.5.07 David Marshall Lodge - Just a mile beyond Aberfoyle the centre celebrates the success of conservation in building up the Scottish Osprey population from zero to 200 pairs over the last 50 years. These huge and remarkable fish eating birds migrate individually every year to Winter in Gambia and return to nest in Scotland. This is a wonderful spot and the pictures below are self explanatory. (The nesting Osprey is a shot of a live LCD screen in the Lodge). Click on the pics to enlarge.
27.7.07 Largs - Los Christianos in Scotland Largs is a beautiful seaside town just "Doon the water" from Glasgow on the mainland West coast. It has impressive Island views, regular Ferry traffic (to Cumbrae Island and Arran), an excellent gulf stream climate, great shops and Restaurants and, above all, friendly people. Almost the favourite place for Glaswegians to visit.
